Short-term projects
Looking for something to put on your CV? We can offer short-term projects such as making short videos and documentaries, writing content for our exhibitions, and preserving and digitising our artifacts. If you have a skill, we need you! Get in touch to discuss some ideas.
Volunteer from home
We are always working on digitization and cataloguing projects, for example, the transcription of a 19th century sea diary (see the blog). For more details about our current projects, and opportunities to give us a hand from home, please get in touch.
Work experience at Staithes Museum
We understand how valuable practical work experience is for young people, which is why we’re proud to offer tailored placements at Staithes Museum. Our work experience program gives students the chance to develop new skills, explore the world of museum work, and discover more about our fascinating collection. Every placement is designed to suit the student’s interests and goals.
